Managing Hybrid and Remote TeamsHybrid changes everything. Since the Covid lockdown more and more companies are accepting that working from home, or a combination of home working and office based work, is here to stay. This will necessarily involve new and inventive ways of managing teams. Many of the skills managers already hold will still be applicable, but will need to be adapted. Other skills will need to be introduced, and some old ways of working will need to be left behind. This course will give managers the support to be able to manage a hybrid team or wholly remote team, and overcome the challenges inherent in that model while making the most of the opportunities. We pare back the most successful strategies and approaches of the ‘in-person’ management era and rebuilt them for the new world. You will learn how to motivate teams remotely; keeping them engaged and ensure that the performance of the team is as efficient as before. We will look at how to manage appraisals, keeping the focus going and deal with difficult conversations remotely.
